It’s been a long time…

It’s been almost two years since I’ve written anything on my personal website. Too many of my interactions and thoughts have been published on alternative platforms, which became a source of fear and chaos for me personally. To disrupt the habit of consuming these sources I blocked the websites entirely on my router to put some friction between the habitual action and the prize.

It worked! My mind has been clearer and I have now created a habit of controlling my exposure to what is causing fear and chaos in the world around me. It’s important to me to understand what is happening without being caught up in the emotions of it all and instead make informed and intentional decisions.

In all of this, I decided I would like to start sharing on my personal website again and using any alternative platforms as a method of distribution rather than where my content lives. Lately, I’ve been interested in home labs which is basically a small data center I run at home with old computers and decommissioned enterprise server hardware. But I’ll be writing more about that later along with some other things I’ve been getting into.
